WHAT ARE HAZARDOUS BUILDING MATERIALS/DESIGNATED SUBSTANCES?
Defined in Ontario Occupational Health & Safety Act Regulations O.Reg. 490/09, designated substances are a group of eleven chemical agents that are known to be hazardous and can cause significant negative health effects.
