What does accreditation mean?

Accreditation by NVLAP (Lab Code 101949-0) and certification by C-NRPP provides proof that the competency of our laboratory has been closely examined, assessed against national and international standards, and confirmed by an independent third-party accreditor. A decision to accredit means that the LEX laboratory meets the operational and technical requirements detailed in the international quality standard ISO 17025:2017 and current national standards.

In short, LEX’s accreditations means you can be assured that:

  • Our measurement methods are maintained according to current national and international standards
  • Our equipment is checked and calibrated regularly
  • Our laboratory technicians and analysts demonstrate a high level of competency
  • We participate in international intercomparison testing
  • The results you receive from us are of the highest quality and reliability
